Flight Commander
The
Flight Commander is the heart of the encampment, being fully
responsible for the experience and
performance of the cadets within their respective flight. Whether
its uniform issues, teaching courtesies,
drill and bearing, or homesickness, the Flight Commander is the real
face of the activity for most cadets.
The Flight Commanders report to the Squadron
Commanders.
The
expectation is that the
Flight Commanders will be involved in
some of the activity planning from February to April, including
any number of conference calls, in-face meetings, and planning
activities involving downstream staff. Flight Commanders
are expected to contact all members of their flight for personal
introductions and to assist with any needs the basic cadets may
have.
Flight Commanders are required to attend RST.
