Cadet Deputy Commander

Responsible for coordinating and implementing the encampment training, and overseeing the performance of all cadet line personnel.

The Cadet Deputy Commander reports to the Cadet Commander.

He/She will ensure adherence to the cadet training schedule, work with the Squadron Commanders, and counsel staff members when needed.
He/She will work on other duties as assigned by the Cadet Commander.

At all times during the encampment, the Cadet Deputy Commander will be fully briefed and ready to assume the duties of Cadet Commander,
should the situation arise that the Cadet Commander cannot perform his duties.

The expectation is that the Cadet Deputy Commander will be involved in activity planning from mid-January to April, including
any number of conference calls, in-face meetings, and planning activities involving downstream staff.

The encampment fee is waived for the Cadet Deputy Commander.

The Cadet Deputy Commander is required to attend RST.
