Cadet Commander

The Cadet Commander (C/CC)is responsible for the successful execution of the encampment from the cadets' perspective.

The Cadet Commander reports to the Commandant of Cadets.

The cadet commander a  "doer" - being tasked with any number of objectives from the Commandant and his staff.
He should be proactive in voicing opinions about activities and classes, and knowledgeable regarding both the
cadet program itself and experienced with larger-scale CAP activities.

The expectation is that the Cadet Commander will be involved in activity planning from mid-January to April, including
any number of conference calls, in-face meetings, and planning activities involving downstream staff.

The Cadet Commander sets the tone, sees to every detail, and is ultimately responsible to the Commandant Staff
for successful execution of the activity.

The encampment fee is waived for the Cadet Commander.

The Cadet Commander is required to attend RST.
